• Follow Route 220 North/Interstate 581 North
• Take Exit 3C, Valley View Drive
• Pass the Valley View Mall
• Pass under a bridge/Hershberger Road
• Move over into the far left lane

From Virginia Tech

• Follow US-460 E
• Take exit 1A for I-81/US-460 toward Salem/Roanoke
• Keep left at the fork to continue toward I-81 North
• Keep left at the fork, follow signs for I-81/Salem/Roanoke and merge onto I-81 North
• Take exit 143 onto Interstate 581/220 South
• Take Exit 3E, Hershberger Road
• Move over into the far left lane
• Take the Aviation Drive/Airport exit
• Move over into the far left lane

• Head south on Aviation Drive
• Turn right to stay on Aviation Drive
• Take the ramp onto Hershberger Road
• Take the ramp onto I-581 North/220 North
• Take exit 1S to merge onto I-81 South toward Bristol/Salem
• Take exit 118C-B-A for 11/460 toward Blacksburg/Christiansburg
• Keep left at the fork to continue toward 460 West
• Keep right at the fork, follow signs for Blacksburg/460 and merge onto 460
• West once on 460 West, follow Virginia Tech directional signage
