Jacqueline Shuck, A.A.E.

Since September 1989, Jacqueline Shuck has served as Executive Director of the Roanoke Regional Airport. As Executive Director, Jacqueline provides long-range planning, oversees service and fiscal improvements and works with local, regional and federal authorities. She reports to the Roanoke Regional Airport Commission. Prior to Roanoke, Jacqueline served as Director of Port Control, the airport’s top executive position, at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport in Cleveland, OH. In this position, she also served as the top executive for Burke Lakefront Airport, a smaller business-focused airport located in Cleveland. She received a bachelor’s degree from Miami University in Oxford, OH, and a law degree from the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law at Cleveland State University.
 

Efren T. Gonzalez, A.A.E.

A 1974 graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Efren has been the Deputy Executive Director with the Roanoke Regional Airport Commission since June 1999. Prior to relocating to the Roanoke Valley, he was employed by the City of San Antonio Aviation Department for 11 years in various capacities, including 2 years as Acting Aviation Director, overseeing San Antonio International Airport and Stinson Municipal Airport. Efren also has a combined 10 years experience in numerous airport positions at the Orlando International Airport, John F. Kennedy International Airport, LaGuardia Airport, and the Sarasota-Bradenton Airport.

Efren is an accredited airport executive, and currently serves on the Board of Examiners of the American Association of Airport Executives.
